This was a fun roll of film to get back from the lab! With a bit of digging and looking back at some digital photos my best guess is that I shot this roll of film in 2009.
I know I had a Lomography Fisheye 2 camera for a while. I am not sure what happened to it but it is long gone now. I had no idea what was on this roll when I brought it in to be developed. All I did know is that it was Fujifilm Superia 200. Definitely one of the rolls that I bought from a Loblaws supermarket when they were blowing these things out on clearance when film was dying in the early 2000’s. (I wish I had of bought more of it back then but alas I bought all I could afford at that time!) I was happy to see these photos come to life.
It is quite obvious that I used some sort of flash for these photos. It could have been a little Vivitar thing or maybe my Nikon SB600 set on manual flash mode. Nothing automatic about any of these photos. Some of the images are super underexposed barely giving me an image at all. Others were way overexposed which is fine by me and some were exposed just right! I flipped a few of the underexposed ones to black and white as the colours were really weak. As usual I have bumped up the contrast in post production to give these photos the boost they needed!
