Here is another shot at night time photography. I have noticed the strange “glow” from this Circle K gas station earlier this summer and have had it in the back of my mind that I would come back sometime and try and photograph it. Well last night driving home from work I ended up going right past it and turned around to see what I could come up with. Once again using the digital camera as I try to hone in on these long exposures I set up my tripod and took a bunch of shots.

I really liked the way the light of the gas station was lighting up the wet asphalt of the street. There is that green “glow” from the lights that really stands out from any other lights along that street. Somehow I managed to get some nice light trails of a car passing by that cross the whole scene too.

All in all I am pretty happy with how it turned out. The first frame is straight from the camera, the second one is a slight cinematic look and the last one is flipped to black and white stripping the scene of all colour and leaving us only with the glow of the lights.
